ChabDog’s Week 8 Recap —

  • Except for a few sustained, well-conceived and well-executed drives, it was no
    beauty pageant for Bagent.
  • Bengals extract some super revenge for those painful Super Bowl defeats,
and rekindle expectations that this team will complete the business it failed to finish in February 2022.
  • Steelers found themselves stuck in the rain and mud with wheels spinning against the Jags.
  • Ravens spend most the afternoon playing with the Cardinals,
but end up running for cover when it came to covering that healthy spread.
  • Yes, one guy does make a big difference. Hope he enjoys the trip to Germany.
He must have known I dressed up like Kelce for Halloween.
  • Feisty Hawks win dogfight with the Browns, as Geno catches fire and takes Seattle on a magic carpet ride to the end zone.
  • Nice Bryce over Proud Stroud… which leads me to question
    my past prospects for CJ.
  • Really should take the time to better understand how in the hell the former Skins
nearly scored 31 off of the Eagles apparently overrated defense. Bottom line is the Mean
Green won and covered, which is just fine with me. But I still can’t completely figure out the Commondores.
  • Didn’t watch this game… with I could have.
My impression is the promise of the Colts (well, there was a little of that.)..seems completely gone.
And when the Saints get quarterbacking like this, they are a pretty good team.
  • So much for the Gano toe. And today, younger little half-brother tripped up his older sibling, or was it the other way around.
  • Let it be said that this weekend, Levis took flight, not the Falcons.
  • Really a collassal tragedy, as I was enjoying being flogged on the head by Kirk Cousins’
increasing list of big game performances. And then this happens. I hope this isn”t as serious
    as it sounds.
  • McVey’s wife just gave birth, and the Rams’ defense gave life to 2 sets of quadruplets… as in TD’s and Field Goals. Congrats Sean.
  • Regardless of the verdicts of juries, no matter the final score, this game still
shows the Bills to be a team with something not quite right, and the Bucs a team
that never really got anything right.
  • Detroit’s just oozing with athleticism, while the Raiders seemed to have maxxed out on Maxx.
