- Murray slaughters the Lakers with a fantastic finish, and it’s love boat time for LeBron. Don’t fault LA for rolling over in a tough situation… no they acquitted themselves well in terms of showing tons of spunk and making the champs work for this win, but in the end they didn’t get the job done on the boards and the lack of a shut down, skilled defensive guard really hurt. Offense gets you the headlines but defense wins championships.
- Too bad for the underdog Pelicans that only the favorites could wear Thunder shirts… oh well… it’s “What a pro wants, what a pro needs” and in this series, OKC was definitely not singing flat.
- It was a total White-out in Miami, as Derrick struck oil at South Beach….. gushing for 38 points, blocking shots and generally shredding the Heat’s lame attempt at zone defense. Good riddance to the Heat.
